JJ People offers three different models to best suit your requirements: Managed Offshore Team, Dedicated Offshore Team and Individual Offshore Contractor.

Managed Team
Managed Offshore Teams are directly under the control of a JJ Team Leader. The JJ Team Leader is available full-time at your site, in daily contact with your Project Manager and the Offshore Team Manager. All members of the Managed Team are full-time employees of JJ People and are committed to remain in the team until the completion of the assignment. Visits to the team in Nairobi can be arranged at any time.

Dedicated Team

When you hire a Dedicated Offshore Team, all members are automatically placed directly under your control and supervision. The progress is monitored on a daily basis through your assigned JJ Manager. The JJ Manager is provided by JJ People as part of the package and will act as the team leader reporting to you directly to ensure communication is smooth and progress satisfactory. As the team leader the JJ Manager will inspect and pre-approve all timesheets before they are submitted to you. All members of your team are employees committed to JJ People and will remain in your team until the completion of your assignment to ensure continuity. Visits to the team in Nairobi can be arranged at any time.

Individual Contractor

Hiring an experienced remote Java/J2EE developer as an Offshore Contractor offers a number of unique advantages over the classic contractor model. Your Offshore Contractor is managed by you and monitored by a senior JJ Manager on site in Kenya, ensuring that communication errors are eradicated and work done meets the JJ quality Standards. Offshore contractors are full-time employees of JJ People committed to you until the completion of your assignment.Are you a talented and committed individual who would like to work as a Java Software Engineer for multi-national companies in Europe, Canada and the US across the Internet from Kenya?

The requirements for this position are: that you are a Kenyan Citizen; you live in or can commute or relocate to Nairobi; you have graduated (within the last one year) or about to graduate in an IT related degree(MUST) or have previous software experience; and finally, you love computer programming!
