Reporting to the General Manager, the incumbent will provide technical leadership and direction in the area of sugarcane production.
She/he will manage the resources of Agriculture department effectively and lead technology evaluation and dissemination in collaboration with other stakeholders within our growing zone.

1 SALES ASSISTANTS
Job purpose: To ensure timely delivery of our products to the market and timely stock reconciliations. Ensure proper handling of crates to minimize breakages and accurate crates stock reconciliations.
The applicant should posses the following academic qualifications and competencies:-
• K.C.S.E. certificate minimum aggregate C (plain).
• Diploma in sales and marketing preferably examined by KNEC or its equivalent.
• At least one year experience in similar capacity in a busy organization.
• 25-35 years old.
• Good Communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills.

* Lead on reporting operational progress to the Board of Directors, be accountable for all aspects of organisational performance and implement decisions made by the Board at its meetings.
Quality
* Ensure all staff have a high focus on quality in their day to day work, and that the company is committed to delivering high quality products and services to its franchisees at all times.
* Ensure systems and contracts are in place to select, train and monitor franchisees to agreed high standards and to ensure franchisee compliance with those standards.
* Ensure that the company has excellent financial & IT systems in place.
Operational management and monitoring
* Ensure timely budgeting and reporting.
* Brand development and marketing
* Ensure that the company maintains good relations with all key stakeholders.
Person Profile
The Managing Director is expected to have a proven track record of running a successful business in East Africa and to possess the following skills, qualifications and experience:
* A first degree in a relevant discipline.
* Over 10 years’ experience of senior management positions in successful businesses.
* Experience of retail management and marketing.
* An understanding of rural development issues and how commercial activity can contribute to that development.
* Knowledge of franchising and the livestock sector in Kenya highly desirable.
* Proficiency in Ms Office - Ms Word, Ms Excel, Ms Power Point.
* An innovative approach to business with strong problem-solving abilities.
* A strong empathy with rural people.
