Our client, a leading packaging solutions organization is looking to hire a Supply Chain Manager. The main responsibility of this role is to manage the supply chain for the organization, providing a collaborative, efficient, effective value-adding service to the business and its customers.

Key Accountabilities for this role are:
* Ensure alignment between all the component parts within the supply chain process including sourcing for materials, logistics, warehousing, production planning, etc., and align the processes to global standards and local strategy.
* Liaising with all stakeholders in the business to ensure effective and efficient delivery of service
* Ensure employees in Supply Chain are highly engaged and continuously developed.
* Drive the supply chain annual budget process, & drive KPI’s
* Proactively manage the forecasting process in collaboration with all stakeholders; align the forecasts with sales and customer service strategies.
* Manage the material planning and inventory control processes.
* Manage the production planning process; drive cost effectiveness
* Manage the whole logistics process

Minimum Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess the following minimum qualifications and competencies:
* Undergraduate degree in a business related field
* Post Graduate Diploma in Supplies Management and Logistics
* Masters in Business Administration will be an added advantage
* Computer Knowledge; Word , Advanced Excel, Power Point, and Qlikview
* Practical use of SAP is a strong added advantage
* A minimum of 7 years’ work experience in supply chain role, preferably with a large multinational of which 2 years have been spent in management and leadership positions.
* Strong commercial awareness, with highly developed analytical, organizations and planning skills
* Excellent people management skills and interpersonal skills with strong leadership, high integrity
* Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills, at all levels

The package for this position starts at KShs 350,000 per month, negotiable based on experience and demonstrable contribution.

Position Title:Supply Chain Director
Reports to:Managing Director
Basic Purpose:
Ensures the implementation and maintenance of Supply Chain policies and procedures
Directs and organizes all activities related to procurement, logistics, inventory and warehousing, Real
Estate and Facilities Management, to minimize total costs and maximize levels of quality and service
Responsible for maintaining relationships with external suppliers and for negotiating major contracts
Ensures compliance with and implementation of Group Supply Chain policies and processes
Coordinates key activities and major projects with general management and managers from other
departments
Directs the Supply chain Department department comprising of Procurement, warehouse and Logistics,
Real Estate and Facilities and Planning, Reporting and process sections
Responsible for resource allocation, including budget and staff for the Procurement department
Is the interface for Group’s International Supply Chain and that of the Kenya function, with a reporting
line to the Regional Supply Chain Manager

Main Responsibilities and Duties:
1.Contributes to the formulation of the OPCO strategy and ensures that all Supply Chain policies and
procedures are sound and drive the performance of the OPCO.
