Responsibilities
* Ensure timely purchase of raw materials and packaging materials.
* In charge of warehouse management
* Ensure the smooth running of all operations in the stores including stock takes, dispatch and other routine day to day activities.
* Prepare product and material provision report and forward to finance for provision and work plan.
* Ensure timely receipt of raw materials and packaging materials in warehouse and into manufacturing provision system for smooth running of material requirement planning (MRP).

Position: Manager - Procurement
Reporting to: General Manager-Human Resources & Administration
Some of the key functions will be:
* Prepare purchase requisitions, and issues local purchase orders in accordance with Corporation policy and negotiated terms and conditions.
* Prepares, reviews and evaluates bid/tender documents and proposals for all items to be procured by the Corporation in liaison with relevant Units:
* Manage vendor/ supplier relationships and assist in building effective partnerships.
* Ensure efficient procurement, receipting, storage, custody and issuance of stores and that deliveries meet the required standards
* Verify all suppliers invoices, processes payments and ensure prompt settlement
* Maintain and keep records of Tender Committee meetings and provide secretarial services to the committee;
* Offer advice to Management on all matters relating to procurement and disposal of assets and stores.

This is a responsible position in the department and applicants are expected to be dynamic individuals who are able to multi task, team players and result oriented.
Minimum requirements:
* Bachelor of Business Administration or Bachelor of Commerce or Bachelor of Business Management.
* They should also be fully qualified accountants.
* However, applicants with CPA II with long working experience will also be considered.
* Knowledge and working experience with Computer Accounting Software and Microsoft Office is mandatory.
* Minimum of five (5) years working experience in a reputable organization in an internal audit department.

Key Responsibilities
* Maintain and implement the Federation standard warehousing and logistics policies / practices and keep all records that are necessary for conducting audits and inspections.
* Ensure the correct storage, rotation of stock and proper structural maintenance of warehouse to keep all stocks in good condition.
* Maintain accurate stock control and records at all times and provide weekly/monthly stock reports to the Logistics Manager
* Participate in the procurement of goods and services, and render such advice as may be necessary for the proper provision of logistics support.
* Organise local labour to effect the timely and efficient receipt and dispatch of goods to and from the warehouse.
* Maintain communications with the relevant departments of EARO and Partner National Socities to ensure the timely and efficient receipt and dispatch of goods from the warehouse in support of their operations.
* Lodge the necessary documents with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Kenya Revenue Authority, and any other external partners and follow up for their approvals, and subsequent delivery of documents and cargo to the respective desks and offices.
* Facilitate timely Customs clearance EARO import / export cargo through coordination with appointed clearing agents
* Coordinate transport and delivery of EARO cargo with appointed transport contractors.
