Administrative Assistant to the General Manager (GM) Job Vacancy in Kenya
Our client, a leader in the provision of industrial equipment in the region is looking to hire an Administrative Assistant to the General Manager (GM).
The key responsibilities for this position include:
* Managing and maintaining the General Managers’ diary/calendar and streamlining requests and workload;
* Scheduling and coordinating meetings, appointments and travel arrangements for the GM, including acquiring and ensuring renewal of required legal documents for example travel visas etc;
* Screening the GM’s telephone calls, enquiries and requests, and handling them as required;
* Recording, compiling, transcribing and distributing minutes of meetings to the relevant officers as and when required to do so;
* Coordination and acquisition of all promotional items and their effective management;
Required Qualities - The ideal candidate will be:

Required Skills - The ideal candidate will have:
* Have impeccable communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Proactive attitude and ability to take initiative and work independently
* Highly organised, pay close attention to detail and effective time management skills
* Excellent event organisation and interpersonal skills
* Create and maintain good relationships with clients
* Deal with conflicting priorities and resolve issues amicability and decisively
Qualifications
* Have an Advanced Diploma in Sales and Marketing or Public Relations from a reputable institution.
* Be proficient in MS Office applications and have the ability to work in a highly computerized environment.
The ideal candidate for this role will have at least 5 years working experience of which two will be in a similar position of administrative assistant to senior management.
The salary for this position is KShs 35,0000 gross per month.
