CARE International in Kenya is looking for dynamic and highly motivated individuals of high moral character and professional integrity to fill the following positions:
Project Manager – RREAD Programme
Ref: PM–28/2010


Reporting to the Senior Sector Manager, the Project manager – Regional Resilience Enhancement Against Drought (RREAD) Programme will provide critical coordination and support to CARE’s operations in Takaba and El Wak both in Mandera district.

He/she will be responsible for leading the team in the region in implementing CARE’s disaster risk reduction program and coordinate project implementation, including allocation of resources and ensure that appropriate controls are maintained at all levels.

In liaison with the field teams and the supervisor, develop new short term and medium term programs for implementation and evaluate and monitor all programs to determine the extent to which they are meeting goals and identify action needed to initiate achievements.

Executive Assistant
Ref: EA–28/2010

Reporting to the Country Director (CD) the Executive Assistant will manage and coordinate CARE Kenya’s Executive Offices by providing administrative and secretarial support, and overseeing arrangements for country office conferences and other events.
