Our client is seeking to recruit a Portfolio Manager.
Position: Portfolio Manager- Fixed Incomes
Division/ Department:Portfolio Management
Reports to: Chief Investment Officer
Purpose of the position
To formulate, revise and implement investment strategies to ensure that management of all clients assets comply with International best practice and the organization’s internal policies.
Key Result Areas:
* Achieve out-performance against agreed return benchmarks * Align client assets with investment committee recommendations
* Manage client assets in accordance with mandate/investment policy
* Manage portfolio risks and regulatory compliance aspects with regard to asset allocation
* Performs investment research & train research team on Fixed Income asset research
* Monitor developments in security markets..
* Develop investment and economic strategies based on management philosophy and customer objectives.
* Accountable for service delivery through own efforts.
Knowledge, skills and abilities:
* Degree in Finance/accounting/related field
* Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or equivalent
* At least three years experience in a position within the investment industry
* Proven track record of successfully managing client portfolios
* Demonstrate good communication and leadership skills with high personal integrity
* Organized, numerate, analytical and fully computer literate
