Studio Manager, BBC East Africa Bureau, Nairobi, (1 year contract) Job Vacancy
Your main role will be to ensure that all our live and recorded programmes are broadcast at the high level of quality expected by our audience.
You will work mostly in the fast-paced environment of our Nairobi studios, but also from location when necessary.
Experience of operating modern studio equipment is essential.
An understanding of communication networks and of IT systems is also a requirement.
Excellent English and Kiswahili are essential.
You will be expected to work on shifts, with a significant amount at night and weekends.
You will need to demonstrate a highly professional approach to your work.
Punctuality, reliability, pro-activity, as well as outstanding people skills are fundamental to this role.
