Location: Nairobi with frequent travel to Somalia when security allows
Salary: GBP 29,078 per annum

Save the Children Somalia/Somaliland Programme has been working in Central & South Somalia, Puntland and Somaliland for the last 40 years. Our focus of work includes improving access to healthcare, education and food provision to children and their families.
Save the Children is looking for a motivated team player to fill the position of Education Programme Manager for our emergency response project in Central & South Somalia.
A prominent source of leadership, you'll manage a huge variety of education project activities as implemented by the Central & South Somalia Programme.
Although project management & development will be your main focus, you'll also manage key functions ranging from staff management, finance & budgeting and partnerships & donor relationship management.
This is a real challenge, so you'll need at least 5 years significant experience in development & management of education activities, ideally gained in volatile locations. Experience in long distance staff management is essential, as is the ability to write quality project proposals and reports.
