Following the steady and continuous growth and expansion we have experienced over the last few years, we are looking for a talented, energetic, ambitious and self motivated individual keen on a career enhancing opportunity, to fill the position of Territory Manager – Fuel Card

Ref: HR 08/09/10

Reporting to the Sales & Marketing Manager, the successful candidate will drive Fuel Card marketing efforts for the Corporation.

The candidate will also ensure that the Corporation achieves optimal sales volumes from fuel card transactions.

Key Responsibilities

    * Acquire new business opportunities and maintain existing business within the sales territory.
    * Provide professional Management of sales & Excellent Customer service.
    * Develop and implement Fuel Card sales business strategy.
    * Identify, negotiate and agree on trading terms with prospective customers.
    * Manage Fuel Card account relationships with a view of gathering customer complaints, compliments & to improve relations.
    * Conduct Market Intelligence with a view positioning the company as the most competitive in price, service delivery & quality.
    * Provide business advice to Customers on product knowledge and efficient management of fleet.
    * Coordinate sales promotion campaigns and customer open days within the territory.
    * Coordinate the issuance and delivery of Fuel Cards to customers.
    * Ensure compliance to statutory requirements for all business dealings.
    * Prepare price and discount proposals.
    * Coordinate with other business units to exploit Fuel card sales opportunities e.g. Commercial & Industrial, Government Business, Lubes and LPG.
    * Conduct on the spot training for Forecourt attendants and Dealers on the Point of Sale front office operations at the forecourt.
    * Maintain the customers through field visits.

The Person

    * Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or equivalent with relevant professional certifications.
    * At least 3 years hands on experience in Sales and Marketing preferably from the Petroleum Industry.
    * Demonstrate a good understanding of Marketing Fuel Cards.
    * Must have strong analytical negotiation/communication skills
    * Must be keen on detail with a high degree of accuracy
    * Be a person of integrity and honesty
