Much of our work focuses on measuring performance for complex projects and on managing risk in highly unstable and disaster-prone environments.

Location: Kenya


Preparation of reports and developing of formats for Monitoring and Evaluation with assistance from KIimetrica staff. The successful candidate will also coordinate data inputs and reports from Somalia as well as attend donor and client meeting, representing Kimetrica. He/She will also:

• Coordinate M&E data inputs and reports from Somalia
• Attend donor and client meetings, representing Kimetrica
• Provide critical inputs into project proposals and assist in developing the Somalia M&E business
• Develop and maintain excellent relations with Kimetrica Somalia
• Respect confidentiality and security regulations relating to Kimetrica’s operations in Somalia and Kenya and remain impartial
• Assist Kimetrica in other reporting and M&E coordination functions as required.


Required qualifications:

• University degree to MSc level or beyond, preferably in a quantitative discipline
• Excellent English language writing skills including the ability to write high quality reports
• Ability to format reports in Word to very high quality standards
• Understanding of project design principles for non‐profit projects and proven experience of
project design working with non‐profit organizations would be an advantage
• Good numeracy skills including ability to interpret tables and summary statistics
• Right to work in Kenya
• Prior experience in M&E is an advantage
• Willingness to travel to Somalia subject to security conditions
• Somali language skills would be a distinct advantage as would knowledge of the Somali context
