True North Career Map was incepted by Victoria Shigoli in 2006. Mrs. Shigoli schooled and trained in the United States of America for thirteen years before returning to Kenya in 2004. She possesses a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology, and a Masters Degree in Business Management. Prior to her return, she worked in the Informatics Department of the largest Pharmaceutical organization in the world. She implemented and facilitated People Management strategies, evaluated and developed staff, initiated training programs, championed global initiatives and increased employee morale while enforcing key organizational concepts and values.

Victoria Shigoli has worked with individuals and organizations in Kenya to provide services in Recruitment and Selection, Human Resource Auditing, Competency Mapping and Psychometric Testing. She is certified to administer the Myerrs Briggs Test Indicator (MBTI), a psychometric tool that enables organizations to handle more effectively concerns such as improving communication, team development, planning/managing organizational change, enhancing problem solving, dealing with conflict and recognizing and managing stress.

Our client is a leading agency offering communication solution with specialization in, Brand Design & Strategy, Media Management, Event & Experiential Marketing, Audio Visual Production & Out-Of-Home Solutions within the East Africa region.

CLIENT SERVICE DIRECTOR

Key Responsibilities
1. Provide strategic and marketing leadership
1. Champion and lead the current portfolio of brands to ensure quality delivery of the clients branding initiatives.2. Engage clients with an integrated approach of brand building solutions and strategies.
3. To lead client service team to achieve revenue targets for the business units.
4. Ensure business profitability and growth for the agency
2. Build and grow client relationships
1. Ensure proactive and response driven campaigns are executed flawlessly – on time, on budget and exceeding client expectations
2. Understand clients’ business and generate new ideas to enhance client performance.
3. Work with clients and internal teams (client servicing, planning and creative’s) on brand strategy and feasible creative expressions of ideas
4. Build trust, credibility, and client referrals.
5. To maximize revenues from existing accounts and develop new ones.
3. Effectively manage team
1. Develop, challenge, mentor, motivate, and retain dedicated client services teams
2. To manage a client service team, ensuring an effective interface between operational areas of the business and integration with other units.
3. Provide team leadership, foster teamwork and a constructive work environment.

Professional Qualifications
* Either a Bachelor of Commerce (Marketing option) or possess professional qualification in Marketing or Communications i.e. CIM Postgraduate.
* Over 8 years experience in client servicing management in an advertising agency.

Skills required
1. An undying and ever growing passion for enhancing clients business.
2. A theoretical and practiced knowledge in strategic marketing and management.
3. Ability to develop brand strategy and accompanying activation action plans.
4. Ability to work under pressure, be multi-task oriented and meet deadlines.

Personal attributes
1. Analytical and have high level of insight into marketing and strategic management
2. Passionate, flexible but firm, have self-drive, team player, tolerant, ability to work under pressure with minimum supervision.
3. Highly levels of discipline and understanding into human behavior and motivations.
4. Good communication skills both oral and written.
5. Flexibility to travel in short notice, work long hours, and manage tight deadlines.

Remuneration
Monthly salary of Kes. 140-160,000/=
