Consultancy Services for ISO Certification of the Kenya National Highways Authority

The Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) is a State Corporation established under the Kenya Roads Act, 2007, with the responsibility for the management, rehabilitation and maintenance of national roads.
The Authority intends to procure consultancy services for ISO certification from suitably qualified firms. Interested firms are hereby invited to forward their Expression of Interest (EOI) to be pre-qualified

Scope of Services
The selected firms shall be expected to undertake, but not limited to the following:
·         Cap analysis on existing documentation
·         Assist in development of the ISO 9000 QMS project plan
·         Assist in formation of teams for the development of the QMS
·         Assist in the documentation of the QMS
·         Assist in the implementation of the established QMS
Eligibility
Firms with the minimum qualifications stated below shall be eligible to bid
·         Detailed company profile indicating any relevant experience
·         Demonstrate the legal capacity to enter into a contract for the provision of the services in form of a Certificate of Incorporation / Registration Demonstrate compliance to tax remittance in Kenya by providing a valid tax compliance certificate
·         The firms should provide the CV of their expert(s) indicating background of relevant qualifications, experience in handling similar consultancy services in the last 3 years indicating the value of such services.
·         Evidence of a registered office and ifs physical address.
The name, office address, telephone number and email address of the person authorized to receive all correspondence.
Qualifying firms shall be issued with Request for Proposals containing the full scope of services necessary to facilitate detailed technical and financial bidding
Selection of the consultants will be in accordance with the Public Procurement and Disposal Act 2005.
Expressions of Interest in sealed envelopes clearly marked “Expression of Interest for Provision of Consultancy Services for ISO Certification KENHA/172/2010″ must be delivered to the Tender Box at The Kenya National Highways Authority Offices, Mezzanine Floor, Blue Shield Towers, Hospital Road, Upper Hill so as to be received by Friday 19th November 2010, at 12:00 noon or be addressed to:
