CAREER OPPORTUNITY:
REGIONAL STRATEGY PLANNING MANAGER

Communications Solutions Provider – Telecom Industry
Our client, a global telecommunication corporation that provides communications solutions to service providers is looking to fill the position of Strategy Planning Manager, reporting to the Director of Strategy.

This is a regional role, covering the clients’ area of operation in Sub-Sahara Africa and the Islands.
The role will interact with market and industry players including new actors in the industry and
key influencers; regional industry analysts, customer units, group functions and the regional
management team.

Key Accountabilities:

Situational Analysis – responsible for develop the company’s business environment outlook in the
region.
Planning Review – Own the planning review process, involving input and updated perspectives on
the strategy and information on the strategy development process going forward.
Strategy Planning – Manage and direct the process of aligning the various internal and external
players with the regional strategy and planning team.
Strategy Communication – Ensure that the strategy is well communicated and relevant information
is shared across the organization.

Position Requirements

The successful candidate will have:
- At least 5 years’ experience in a strategy, marketing or finance related role, with experience
gained in the telecommunication industry.
- Good analytical thinking skills, with strong business and financial acumen and good problem
solving skills
- Strong written & verbal communication skills, with the ability to standardize business unit
outputs for ongoing reporting purposes
- Very good program management skills
- Good computer literacy
- Self-motivated, resourceful and results oriented

Remuneration: The package offered will be competitive and commensurate with experience.
