Job Summary
Reporting to the Area Sales Manager the Area Sales Supervisor will effectively develop and manage an Area Sales and Merchandising organization, incorporating operational implementation of plans set by the Customer Business Teams, ensuring executional excellence and delivery of the in-store Point of Purchase objectives for the Food &Beverages, confectionary and nutrition categories.

Responsibilities
* Development, execution and evaluation of Area Business Plan
* Achievement and monitoring of agreed Area targets
* Management of Area Bad Goods
* Effective development and management of the area operational field sales force
* Management, control and development of area sales (Bicycle Sales Reps) and merchandiser’s agents.
* Analysis and utilization of Key data by Area for Channel, category and customer.ie-Niehlsen, Top 20 Stock Keeping Unit (SKU), Customer Service Levels.
* Development of area customer relationships through monthly operational reviews.
* Effective implementation of communication through Weekly sales meetings with area sales force.
* Execution and management of Field Management Best Practice (FMBP) and Distribution Management Best Practice (DMBP) in sales area allocated
* Complete all administrative duties, legibly and correctly, by the set deadlines, as detailed in the sales representative appraisal report.
* Identification and communication of new business opportunities and all competitor activity, to the Area Sales Manager, via the weekly call sheet.
* Negotiate and advise customers of price increases, new products and promotions.
* Implementation and execution of customer plans and category Point of Purchase (POP) drivers within the Area.

Requirements
* Degree in Commerce (or similar), majoring in marketing.
* 3 years sales experience including field based exposure
* Sound understanding of the FMCG Industry.
* Sound negotiating skills, knowledge and awareness of financial implications.
* High level of attention to detail, leadership quality’s and skills
