A leading rose flower producer wishes to recruit a high caliber candidate for the position of a Unit Manager, reporting to top management and working as part of management team.
The position entails the following:
·???????? Carrying out all production processes/crop husbandry practices.
·???????? Implementation of the Company Integrated Crop Management Systems (ICM).
·???????? Proper keeping of production and ICM records for the unit
·???????? Liaising with the Post Harvest Department on Quality Issues
·???????? Carrying out of production forecast as and when required.
·???????? Drawing up weekly production reports
·???????? Drawing up weekly farm operations plan in liaison with the General Manager.

·???????? Responsible for the effective operation and maintenance of the spray and fertigation systems in the unit.
·???????? Ensuring that all personnel in the unit are trained on ICM programme and crop husbandry practices.

The ideal candidate should posses the following credentials:
·???????? Bachelors Degree in Horticulture
·???????? At least 3 years experience in production of roses
·???????? Excellent Knowledge of ICM Systems
·???????? Computer literacy
·???????? Knowledge on harvest IT will be an added advantage
·???????? Excellent managerial, supervisory and problem solving skills
·???????? Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
