Our client is an established Telecommunications dealer for the leading mobile services provider. They have an established network of outlets across the country primarily in the following regions: Nairobi, Coast, Central, Mt Kenya, Rift Valley, Western, Nyanza, and Eastern province. We are seeking applications to fill the following position:
Head of Sales (salary range of Kshs.80,000 + incentives)
This is a role required to provide leadership to the sales and branch teams across the country to deliver sales performance amidst a challenging and highly competitive environment. The role holder’s key responsibilities will be to develop and drive sales strategies and initiatives to meet business targets. Applicants for this position should possess the following:
* A business-related degree and/or qualification in Sales and Marketing
* Previous sales management and commercial experience for at least 3 years with ability to translate business strategy into action
* Good understanding of the mobile telecommunications industry and its present challenges will be an added advantage
* Strong communication and relationship management skills
* Strong team ethic – with strong interpersonal skills with a motivational personality to drive high performance and maintain staff motivation levels that deliver the business objectives
* Experience in leading and directing teams in multiple locations countrywide
* Strong sense of responsibility and accountability for delivery of sales performance
* Should be flexible with working hours including working over weekends
* Resilience and ability to withstand high pressure and stress based on an environment requiring frequent crisis management
