General description of the Role

Our Client, a leading life insurance provider is looking for suitable candidates to hire as Unit Manager. The main focus of this position is to recruit, train, develop, motivate, and manage productivity, of the sales agents to achieve agreed business goals while ensuring adherence to compliance standards.
The ideal candidate must have:
* Possess professional qualifications in insurance namely CII, LOMA, COP or in progress towards attaining it. * Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in selling life assurance products. * Working experience in dealing with agency workforce and team player. * Computer literate with excellent presentation, analytical and report writing skills * Be passionate about service delivery * Be of high integrity * Reliable * Excellent networking and relationship building skills * Financial planning skills * Excellent communication and negotiation skills * A Bachelor’s Degree will be an added advantage

Job Details

Main responsibilities:
1. Recruit sales agents as per the set annual manpower budget in order to achieve the Company’s production targets in terms of number of sales, API and persistency.

2. Ensure that the sales agents are professionally trained in order to sell correctly and provide world-class service to clients and potential clients.

3. Review the sales agents’ performance to ensure they meet the company’s minimum acceptable set standards.

4. Identify and put in place motivational strategies in order to ensure that the agents are developing and meeting their personal goals.http://www.kenyantopjobs.com/

5. Generate and analyze weekly unit production reports.

6. Ensure compliance with the regulatory body and Company’s code of ethical conduct.
