Our client, a leading telecommunications services provider, is looking to fill a number of positions in the Finance Department:

Head of Financial Reporting & Compliance
Reporting to the Chief Finance Officer, the incumbent will be responsible for the overall
maintenance of company’s fiscal records; establishment of accounting policies and procedures to

ensure that all financial transactions are executed and documented in accordance with group
reporting guidelines, generally accepted accounting principles, and local regulations and
legislation; analysing the company’s financial position with respect to profits, trends, costs, and
compliance with budget.; presenting findings and recommendations to senior management;
ensuring the integrity and transparency of reported numbers; and ensuring adequate internal
controls are in place and are complied to.

The ideal incumbent for this role will have 8 years relevant work experience with at least 2 – 4
years leadership experience. S/he will have excellent knowledge of all accounting functional
areas; thorough knowledge of IRS reporting requirements; a proven ability work with managers
throughout company in analyzing financial situations; ability to analyse complex business issues
and identify, design and implement effective practical recommendations; ability to operate in a
performance driven organization; culturally aware and adept at working across multiple
geographies; and highly computer literate. Working knowledge
of French would be an added
advantage.

Head of Management Reporting
Reporting to the Chief Finance Officer, the incumbent will be responsible for the development of
the annual operating plan, quarterly re-forecasts and the business plans process in Company, in
close collaboration with senior management and in line with group guidelines and timelines;
managing reporting including tracking, reporting and understanding of variances in actual
performance vs. expectations and proposing remedial measures; tracking and reporting key
performance drivers of the business; managing budgetary control for capex and opex items;
establishing proper monitoring and control process for spends; guiding the decision support
process to ensure that the commercial, capital expenditure and operating decisions take due
considerations of financial and business implications; ensuring sufficient accountability for
business cases from various functions; and overall responsibility for the management accounting
functions – including, where needed, project tracking, budgetary control and costing.

The ideal incumbent for this role will have a degree in Finance or Accounting with a professional
accounting qualification – CPA (K) or ACCA. S/he will have 7 years relevant work experience
with at least 2-5 Years of leadership experience with a proven ability to analyse complex business
issues and identify, design and implement effective practical recommendations that require
exceptional analytical and numeric skills; excellent technical knowledge of budgeting, financial
statements and financial analysis processes; the ability to handle, prioritize, multiple projects
simultaneously, and highly computer literate with the ability to create financial models in Excel.

Manager – Decision Support and Cost Management
Reporting to the Head of Management Reporting, the incumbent will be responsible for revenue
planning, setting up mechanisms to provide financial and business checks for commercial
decisions; reporting on daily and other regular KPIs; preparation of revenue and revenue related
costs in all forecasts / plans; monitoring product performance; undertaking ROI and profitability
analysis; validating business case assumptions to make sure they are in line with historical and
market trends; evaluating plans to confirm they are in line with budgets/forecasts and ensuring
business case projections are within budget/forecasts.

The ideal incumbent for this role will have a degree in Finance or Accounting with a professional
accounting qualification – CPA (K) or ACCA. S/he will have a minimum of 5 years relevant work
experience with at with a proven ability to analyse complex business issues and identify, design
and implement effective practical recommendations that require exceptional analytical and
numeric skills; strong technical knowledge of budgeting, financial statements and financial
analysis processes, and highly computer literate with the ability to create financial models in
Excel.

Manager – Planning & Forecasting
Reporting to the Head of Management Reporting, the incumbent will be responsible for the
preparation of the annual operating plan, forecasts, and long term plans. S/he would coordinate
with other departments and to ensure an interactive and challenging budget session. Would be
responsible to set up budgetary control system to ensure that spends are within the budget. This
would also include controls on capex projects at various stages.

The ideal incumbent for this role will have a degree in Finance or Accounting with a professional
accounting qualification – CPA (K) or ACCA. S/he will have a minimum of 5 years relevant work
experience with at with a proven ability to analyse complex business issues and identify, design
and implement effective practical recommendations that require exceptional analytical and
numeric skills; strong technical knowledge of budgeting, financial statements and financial
analysis processes, and highly computer literate with the ability to create financial models in
Excel.

Manager – Reporting & Analysis
Reporting to the Head of Management Reporting, the incumbent will be responsible for the
preparation of the monthly management accounting and performance analysis pack. S/he will also
be responsible for ensuring the analysis of various performance KPIs, actual versus plans are
undertaken and reported on in an accurate and timely manner
.
The ideal incumbent for this role will have a degree in Finance or Accounting with a professional
accounting qualification – CPA (K) or ACCA. S/he will have a minimum of 5 years relevant work
experience with at with a proven ability to analyse complex business issues and identify, design
and implement effective practical recommendations that require exceptional analytical and
numeric skills; good technical knowledge of budgeting and financial analysis processes; excellent
knowledge GAAP, IAS and IFRS, local regulatory and financial reporting requirements; excellent
understanding of financial performance ratios – profitability, liquidity; and experience in carrying
out quantitative and qualitative analytical reviews on financial statement items.

Budget Controller
Reporting to the Planning and Forecasting Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for
establishing budgetary controls, including the day to day monitoring of expenditure; assisting the
manager in the preparation of the annual operating plan and forecasts, amongst other duties.
The ideal incumbent for this role will have a degree in Finance or Accounting with a professional
accounting qualification – CPA (K) or ACCA. S/he will have a minimum of 3 years relevant work
experience with good technical knowledge of budgeting and financial analysis processes.
