Delsco is a Kenyan registered management consulting firm with its office on Argwings Kodhek Road, Chaka Court, in Kilimani area of Nairobi. The firm started its operations in 2002 and has developed successful business relationships with several corporate clients across several industries, mainly in the services sector. DELSCO, a well established membership institution with countrywide operations, wants to fill the above position with a seasoned professional in the work involved.

The successful candidate will be in charge of the day to day management of the Executive Director’s office and to provide high level administrative support to enhance the office’s effectiveness. The incumbent will Work in a challenging and fast changing work environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
    * Management of the Executive Director’s diary
    * Coordination of flow of visitor’s into and out of the Executive Director’s office
    * Receiving massages to the Executive Director’s office in his/her absence
    * Receiving, typing and dispatching letters and documents from the Executive Director’s officer
    * Support in coordination of Board/Executive committee meetings
    * Taking minutes of the Executive staff meeting
    * Keeping clear records and filing of information in the Executive Director’s office
    * Organize and maintain office Administration processes and information systems
    * Act as liaison person with other departments to ensure effective information flow

Minimum Requirements

    * Bachelor degree in Secretarial services, Business Administration or Social Sciences from a reputable university and professional qualifications in office administration.
    * At least five years experience in a similar position with formal training and proficiency in Ms Office applications, executive office management and proven analytical skills.
    * The incumbent should demonstrate competency in handling situations with tact and diplomacy.
    * Flexibility and ability to prioritize a busy workload and deliver on tight timelines.
    * The incumbent should have excellent communication, interpersonal skills and ability to multitask.
