Kenyan Jobs. Marketing Communications Manager.
Our client is a market leader in the provision of ICT solutions for general business communication. Due to the
need to become more market facing and create increased awareness for its products, the Company intends to recruit a dynamic, target-driven and business oriented individual to fill the above position. Based in Nairobi and reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the holder will be expected to provide a broad range of communications and marketing support to the organization.

Key Responsibilities
· Manage the day-to-day running of the marketing department
· Draft reports, Management and Board papers on the organization’s activities
· Develop strategic marketing plans with both short and long-term goals with measurable outcomes
· Execute marketing efforts to expand the product market whilst maintaining current existing clients
· Track market trends, analyze results, and draw conclusions about performance in order to recommend
improvements to marketing strategies and tactics

· Translate organizational needs into analysis designs providing insight, knowledge, and understanding of
customers, products, and business sectors
· Work collaboratively with all Departments to create and manage cross-organizational,
integrated marketing strategies
· Provide writing and editing support for all outbound member communication, including all promotional
materials, website content, newsletter and annual report
· Review and edit existing promotional materials for marketing effectiveness, cross-selling implications and
adherence to brand guidelines
· Assist in development of new revenue resource through stakeholders partnerships, exhibitions
and sponsorships

Essential Skills & Knowledge:
· Bachelors degree in marketing, communications, advertising, business or related field
· Possession of a Masters Degree shall be an added advantage
· At least 3 years of online, traditional marketing and public relations experience
· Good written and verbal communications skills (English and Kiswahili)
· Experience with managing a Web-site and/or portal, utilizing a CMS like expression Engine as well as
managing the site performance against standard Web metrics
· Experience with branding, co-branding and managing a brand delivered via indirect distribution
· Highly organized team player who can multi-task
· Ability to effectively work under tight deadlines and manage projects independently
· Prior association and/or international markets experience desired but not necessary
· Knowledge and Experience in public relation (Speech writing, public speaking, working with
Public relations and marketing agencies
· High level of integrity, a self-starter, results oriented and a team player
