Duty station: Mogadishu, Somalia
Reporting to: Program Support Officer
Duties and Responsibilites:
* Assist in the management of the compound in duty station.
* Mange the fuel and maintenance contracts in conjunction with the PSO to ensure compliance and validity of the service.
* Ensure all service contracts for the camp management (e.g. fuel, maintenance, water, etc) are valid at all times with time and amount.
* Administratively manage all staff daily staff including guards (in conjunction with the Security Officer), cleaners, daily wage, laborers, etc.
* Complete RIR of all assets in conjunction with the Asset management Assistant.
* In coordination with Operations staff and the PSO, assist with cargo shipments to field sites from field sites to main compound.
* Assist with the management of the living accommodation and bookings for incoming staff
* Maintenance of the living and office accommodation.
* Assist in the compiling of requisitions with all staff on an as required basis
* Maintain a system to record and manage fuel use for all vehicles and generators ensure efficient fuel consumption.
* Create and maintain vehicle maintenance schedule for regular tasks e.g. oil and filter changes.
* Manage light-duty vehicle repairs on site, and liaise with contracted repair shop for cost-effective and timely repairs that cannot be managed in house.
Minimum Qualifications Required:
* Experience in logistics area and experience in managing camps
* Experience in filing systems
* Computer literate (MS Office)
* Fluent in Arabic and English (oral and written)
* Ability to work in a gender-equal and multi-cultural environment.
