Project Manager - Nutrition at World Vision Kenya
Description
* Provide leadership in managemnt of the grant budget and work plan * Daily management and supervision of staff. * Coordinate all field logistical operations for the program e.g transport in conjunction with the administration department * Conduct staff recruitment and regular training of the local staff (including refresher courses) * Monitor program activities and expenditures against the workplan and budget.
Qualifications
* Minimum of Bachelor in Nutrition and dietetics or related discipline.
* At least five years working experience of which two should be in a management of nutrition programs * First hand experience in nutrition programming in complex emergencies * Broad understanding of food
security issues in arid and semi arid areas * Good knowledge of underlying causes of malnutrition. * Experience in nutrition surveys and assessments. * Competence in analytical computer software data analysis, writing and communication skills. * Must have excellent communication skills * Must be registered with the Kenya Nutrition and Dietetics Institute (KNDI)
