Our client, Kenya Airports Authority (KAA), is a State Corporation established under the Kenya Airports Authority Act (Cap 395), whose mandate is to construct, operate and maintain aerodromes, as well as provide such other amenities and facilities for passengers and other persons making use of the services or other facilities so provided within Kenya.
They wish to fill the following positions urgently:-

Systems Administrator

Job Profile
    * Provide reliable, secure and readily available application system services t6 the users
    * Implements and monitors system controls to ensure information integrity
    * Define and ensure integrity of the backups and restore processes in accordance with the disaster recovery policy.
    * Configures and monitors the performance of specific applications to ensure they operate to agreed performance levels
    * Maintain systems availability to meet customer SLA
    * Report and follow up on vendor problem resolution to ensure compliance to Service Level Agreements (SLA) and contracts.
    * Test and implement relevant technical system upgrades, patches and new installations.
    * Recommends tests and implements tools to enhance system performance, integrity and administration.
    * Ensures the effective implementation and maintenance of KAA Quality Management System

Person Profile

    * University degree in IT or related field
    * Three years experience in system administration
    * Certified Database/Unix administrator and/or Microsoft Certified Engineer.
    * Hardware knowledge.
